- The Senior Accountant is responsible for establishing and managing efficient processes for accurate and timely invoice processing, ensuring proper categorization of expenses and resolving discrepancies. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include processing speed, error rates, expense classification accuracy, adherence to standards, and the correctness of general ledger and account codes. The role also involves monitoring and improving procedures for handling invoice mismatches, aiming to reduce errors and expedite resolution.
Record Keeping, Reporting, and Analysis
- This position entails maintaining precise financial records in compliance with regulations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closing, and conducting variance analysis of operational expenses. The Senior Accountant is responsible for generating various financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and adherence to service level agreements.
