A reputable venture capital is looking to bring on board a seasoned investor relation to boost their growth within the SEA region. This client has an ambitious vision, and they believe that despite the slow economic turn, there is still plenty of untapped opportunities in the region. As such, they are committed to recruit a mid-senior investor relations who will be reporting to the partners.
Reporting to the partners, this mid-senior candidate will be responsible for supporting the fund raising to the LPs and also supporting the current portfolio companies. The candidate is also expected to be the focal point of communication between current and potential investors. Other responsibilities include:
- Leading future fund raising (both local and global investors).
- Supporting the partners in creating strategy and framework in order to provide a compelling road map.
- Preparing and developing fund model, road maps, presentations, prospectus and other required data and documentation.
- Preparing updates to investors on quarter portfolio updates, investment performances and investor newsletters.
- Working closely with both the investment and operation team to understand the company's strategy.
- Preparing detailed performance reports for investors, and assisting in the development of marketing materials, presentations and pitch decks.
- Organizing, facilitating investor meetings, calls and events.
- Developing excellent relationship with existing investors while identifying new opportunities for new investment.
- Updating investors with the current market trends, competitive landscae while monitoring industry development that may affect investors.
This role is only opened for those who are familiar with the Indonesia market. Other requirement for this role includes excellent communication in both Bahsaa and English, and you must have relevant experience. Other key requirement:
- At least 6-8 years working experience in relevant field (investor relations, fund-raising, venture capital, fund-raising).
- Bachelor degree from reputable university, with preference in Finance / Business / Management / Investment background.
- Excellent communication in both Bahasa and English.
- Strong knowledge of investment, private equity and/or venture capital is preferable.
- Familiarity with financial modelling, and pitch book building.
- Ability to be a team player in both local and regional setting, and adaptability to work as an individual contributor.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skill, and has the ability to create engaging and impactful conversations.
- Understanding of capital market trends, industry dynamics and customer trends.
