The client is an Abu Dhabi based investments firm


  • Lead a team of analysts in executing private equity-style investments.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments and evaluate investment opportunities across various sectors.
  • Perform macro-economic and sector-specific research to inform investment decisions.
  • Prepare and present detailed investment proposals to the Investment Committee.
  • Negotiate transaction terms and agreements.
  • Develop and assess financial models for potential investment targets.
  • Oversee due diligence processes on investment targets.
  • Monitor and manage portfolio companies to ensure performance aligns with investment goals.
  • Mentor and train the investment team on deal evaluation, execution, and best practices in private equity.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the investment team, providing insights based on sector trends and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure alignment with the firm's investment objectives. Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Investment Director.

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven buy-side experience in private equity, including deal evaluation, structuring, closing, and monitoring.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, delegate, and mentor a team effectively.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, due diligence, and investment analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful transaction closures.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; proficiency in other languages, particularly Arabic, would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization and with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Keen business acumen with a strong understanding of global and regional economic trends.
  • Mature, responsible, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or willing and able to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
