The client is an Abu Dhabi based investments firm.


The key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Develop and implement the overall investment strategy in alignment with the firm's objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead the identification and evaluation of new investment opportunities across target sectors.
  • Oversee the investment process from sourcing to execution, ensuring disciplined decision-making and adherence to investment criteria.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on due diligence processes, financial modeling, and risk assessment for potential investments.
  • Lead negotiations for complex transactions, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Present investment opportunities and recommendations to the Board and Investment Committee, supported by thorough analysis and clear strategic rationale.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the firm's investment portfolio, ensuring that value creation initiatives are effectively implemented.
  • Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, portfolio companies, industry experts, and external advisors.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the CEO and Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting/Business Management
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field, with a strong track record of leading successful investments globally
  • Extensive experience in managing and developing high-performing investment teams.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to structure and close complex transactions.
  • Strong communication skills, with a fluency in English Preference for an Arabic speaker
  • Highly strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to see the big picture.
