  • Legal Advisory Services: Provide comprehensive legal advice to the investment fund on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, and corporate governance.


  • Deal Execution: Oversee the structuring and execution of various investment transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met and conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities.


  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks in Abu Dhabi and other jurisdictions where the fund operates. Stay current with legal and regulatory changes that may impact the fund's operations.


  • Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to safeguard the fund's interests while minimising legal risks.


  • Litigation Management: Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary, to manage and resolve legal disputes or litigation, and represent the fund's interests effectively.


  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging issues affecting the fund's investments and provide proactive legal guidance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal teams and external parties to communicate legal requirements, risk assessments, and compliance procedures.

  • Common law qualified lawyer with a strong academic background.
  • 5-8 years of legal experience with a reputable UK or US law firm, preferably with experience in corporate and commercial law.
  • Proficiency in deal execution and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment in the UAE, particularly in Abu Dhabi, and international jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse team environment.
  • Arabic speaking strongly preferred
