Job offer: General Manager - Media Business - Oman

As GM for this business, your responsibilities will be as below:

The General Manager (GM) will oversee the daily operations, business strategy, and growth initiatives of a diversified media business, which may include digital platforms, television, radio, print, and other media channels. The GM will ensure revenue growth, operational excellence, and the continued development of new content and distribution strategies in line with market trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of leadership, media industry knowledge, and commercial acumen. This role requires a forward-thinking executive with a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape.

To be a successful candidate for this role:

• Willing to be based in Muscat, Oman - full time. There may element of flexibility on a case by case basis dependent on each applicants situation but officially this role is based in Muscat
• Minimum of 10-15 years in senior management roles within the media, entertainment, or digital content industry.
• Deep knowledge of the evolving media landscape, including experience across various platforms (digital, TV, print, radio)
• Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and multi-channel operations.
• Experience in leading digital transformation and audience growth initiatives, especially within the context of media consumption trends.
