The Manager will be responsible for consolidating management reports for all entities, with a focus on management reporting rather than statutory reporting. The candidate must have extensive experience in management reporting, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data before consolidation. This role requires the ability to review and analyse the numbers in the management reports thoroughly, as well as a strong understanding of how budgets work to support the consolidation process effectively.
A successful candidate for a Manager, Consolidation and Reporting role typically possesses a strong background in finance or accounting, with expertise in financial consolidation processes, reporting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP), and financial statement preparation. They should have experience in leading or managing consolidation teams, a deep understanding of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar), and the ability to streamline reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to senior leadership are essential. Additionally, experience with multi-entity, multinational organisations, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment is highly valued. A successful candidate will also have leadership qualities, including mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and driving process improvements.
