The client is a newly formed investment manager in Abu Dhabi, which is co-investing with SWFs and Pension Funds internationally across sectors.


As a Private Debt Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the team in sourcing, underwriting, and managing private debt investments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Investment Analysis & Due Diligence: Assisting with the analysis of investment opportunities, conducting financial modeling, and performing detailed due diligence on potential borrowers.
  • Deal Execution: Supporting the structuring and negotiation of debt transactions, and helping to prepare investment materials, term sheets, and presentations.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Assisting in monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments, including reporting on key financial metrics and credit performance.
  • Market Research & Reporting: Conducting research on market trends, industry dynamics, and competitors to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including senior management, portfolio managers, and legal teams.




The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in private debt, private credit or leveraged finance
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of debt instruments and credit markets.
  • Education: A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. A CFA or similar qualification would be advantageous.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. A team-oriented mindset is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling tools. Knowledge of financial databases and deal management systems is a plus.
