Job offer: Head of Risk

A leading healthcare provider with multiple facilities spanning across KSA. Since establishing over 10 years ago, the organisation has grown to become a leader in multiple healthcare specialities in addition to promoting wellness and care across the Kingdom. They have major growth plans for the coming five years aligning with the 2030 vision.

The Head of Risk will be responsible for:

 

• Supporting the CFO with the board risk and audit committee, management risk committee and clerical risk
• Presenting commentary on risk to the board and running the risk committee
• Consistently assess risk management within the business and make necessary changes as required
• Lead, embed and maintain an effective corporate governance framework
• Define and embed a detailed Operational Risk Management framework
• Drive improvement and enhancements in risk management practices
• Work closely with the Clinical Risk/Quality/Governance Teams to ensure policies are in place and embedded
• Lead the Company Secretarial practice and support CFO in timely and effective organisation and minuting of various meetings of shareholders and Board of Directors
• Liaise with Finance, Supply Chain Management (procurement), Strategy and IT departments on behalf of CFO on various outstanding matters

The Head of Risk will hold the following background, experience and qualifications:

 

• Member of the Institute of Risk Management or equivalent
• Member of the Institute of Operational Risk or equivalent
• Hold a professional accounting qualification
• Experienced in risk management or internal audit
• Hold a background in accounting/finance
