Qatar Computing Research Institute - Doha

The Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) was founded in 2010 by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, a non-profit organization dedicated to diversifying Qatar's economy from a carbon-based one to a knowledge-based one. QCRI is focused on advancing research and development in Qatar to support Qatar Foundation's mission and help Qatar reach its goals for economic development. Through world-class research in areas such as Arabic language technologies, social computing, data analytics, distributed systems, cyber security, and computational science and engineering, QCRI works to address Qatar's priorities for growth and development and aligns itself with Qatar's National Research Strategy and National Vision 2030.
